04.11.2009, 11:08 Buducnost are still pointless, but coach Zsiga can see the way out. |

Zsiga: We are ashamedFor the first time since the 2006/2007 season, Buducnost T-Mobile are without points after two games in the Champions League. After the home defeat against Larvik, the Montenegrin champions lost in Volgograd against Russian Dinamo (31:18). Buducnost played one of the worst games in the last decade and now they are far away from one of the first two places of the group. Coach Gyula Zsiga can’t explain what happened in Volgograd.
The Hungarian coach added that the origin of the problem may be excessive self-confidence. ”We talked about that after the game. Most of the girls believed they could win just by stepping on court. At the moment we are just the shadow of ourselves. A player can be satisfied with the results achieved in the past, but every player must give everything they have.” Despite the disappointment, Zsiga was not thinking about resignation. “I still have a valid contract and my duty is to work with the team to find the way out of this situation,” Zsiga said. Buducnost can still reach the next round, he believes. “If we want to do it, all girls must give much more then they have given so far. We have a chance only if we change our way of thinking, the attitude to the game and if everybody shows their best form. I don’t believe the players forgot to play handball or that the coaching staff forgot how to manage a team. We can speak a lot, but only with work can we show our best,” Gyula Zsiga concluded.
