Playing his 13th EHF Champions League season and part of the Brazil national team since 2010, Thiagus Petrus has slowly evolved from a left back at both ends of the court to a player exclusively focused on defence. This season reunited with his former coach, Xavi Pascual, at One Veszprém HC, Petrus was recruited with the purpose of boosting the Hungarian side’s defence.
