Slagelse Looking for New Assistant CoachDanish Champions League semi-finalist Slagelse DT are looking for a new assistant coach after the season.
While head coach Anja Andersen is known to continue at the club, assistant coach Peter Bruun Jørgensen has announced that he is going to step down after the current season.
"The reason of my decision is that I’m going to be a father for the first time in October and I want to be close to my wife and our child," explained Peter Bruun Jørgensen. The trainer is going to take a year off from handball in the 2007/08 season.
Starting the search
"This is still new to us. We have been very satisfied with Peter, but we will of course start the search for a new assistant coach right away," Slagelse director, Bjarne Stenbæk told Eurohandball.com.
Peter Bruun Jørgensen had a quite busy year. Apart from working as the assistant coach of Slagelse DT, he has also been coaching Roskilde Håndbold in the women’s second division this season. TEXT: Peter Bruun |
