Decision about Savic on FridaySlagelse must wait until Friday to find out whether Montenigrin left winger Maja Savic can play on Sunday against Lada Togliatti. The 31-year old Maja Savic was injured in her calve during the second half of the second leg in Russia and had to leave the court immediately.
“So far the scanning has shown that Maja has either an accumulation of blood in her calve or a muscle injury. A final test on Friday will have to show whether she can play or not. Right now we cannot say anything about the chances for her to be fit in time,” Slagelse´s assistant coach Peter Bruun Jørgensen told Eurohandball.com.
