Malmagro injured again

Good and bad news for Portland: Malmagro will be out, but Vugrinec is okay after a minor problem.

Malmagro injured again

Portland San Antonio player, Cristian Malmagro, will be out for some days after a muscular problem. The Catalonian right back felt pain last week and a medical exam showed muscular problems in his left leg. Malmagro does not yet know how much time he will have to stay out of action. He must wait for a second and final examination that will be carried out in Pamplona when Portland will return from Romania. Cabanas could not count on him at the matches played in Timisoara.

The injury of Vugrinec is not seriousMalmagro began this season really badly: this is his second injury in this first one month of trainings. Cristian suffered a lumbago in the first training session of the pre-season. He had to stop for a week, but it was not a serious injury. The current muscular problem looks worse and he is unsure to be able to play at the Asobal League opener.

Vugrinec okay

Cabanas got some good news too. The new Portland coach got Vugrinec back. The right back had a finger injured on his left hand and could not play in Timisoara. Ruesga and Jorgensen had to play on the right back position to solve the problems of Cabanas in the last matches. Vugrinec will be fit for the upcoming games.
