The Spanish women's side, Cementos Ribarroja, are preparing for the CL with difficult matches in Spain as the season begins.

Difficult period for Cementos

Spanish Champions League team, Cementos La Union Ribarroja, will begin the Spanish League ABF this Saturday against Vicar Goya. Ribarroja have a clear objective for the new season: they want to defend their title won last year. It will not be easy because Elda and Sagunto are always big opponents, while Itxako Navarra also look promising for winning the Spanish ABF League.

Upcoming tests for the CL team

The first steps will not be easy for Ribarroja. The Valencia-based team must travel to Vicar to play against a club with great traditions, Vicar Goya.

Goya are also strong especially on home court. Ribarroja lost points in Vicar every season. The atmosphere of the court is electric and it helps the team. Vicar Goya have a strong defence.

Ribarroja will go for a victory to forget the defeat against Sagunto in the final of ABF Cup. Cementos La Union already suffered against Itxako Navarra in the semi-final, but won 25-24.
