László Nagy injured
The Barcelona right back may be out for months with an injury he picked up against Ciudad Real.
The Spanish Supercup finished really badly for Barcelona and László Nagy. Ciudad Real defeated the Catalonians and the Hungarian right back suffered a serious injury: his right arm was fractured – according to the first news. He may be out of action for two months. Nagy will be examined again on Monday in Barcelona to know how bad the injury is.
The problem causes serious concern for coach Manuel Cadenas. The Hungarian is one the towers in the 6-0 defence of Barcelona. Eric Gull will have to substitute him in the right back position and the Argentine must score the usual goals of Nagy.
If the medical exams do not come up with a positive surprise, the Hungarian will miss matches in the Asobal League and in the first group stage of Champions League as well. TEXT: Fernando Urra Goñi |
