"Just the beginning"

Eurohandball.com talks to Buducnost coach, Tone Tiselj before the Champions League opener against Budapest Bank FTC.

Eurohandball.com: Please introduce 2007/2008 team of Buducnost. Who left the team and who arrived?

Most experienced players left, young talents will play this seasonTone Tiselj: We have many of changes this season. 6 experienced foreign players left, Knezovic, Vojcic, Dmitrieva, Burmistrova, Tanase and Vasilyeva. Now we have only two new players, Mladenovic from Slagelse and Milenkovic from Knjaz Milos.

Eurohandball.com: You will play in the extremely strong Group D of the CL against Viborg, FTC and Valcea. What are your chances?

Tiselj: Our chances? We do not calculate our chances. We are just taking care of our team that is extremely young and we will do our best to play the best possible handball. We have a long term project and this is just the beginning.

Eurohandball.com: In the first round you will meet Hungarian champions, FTC. What do you know about them?

Tiselj: We know that they also had a lot of changes but it will be the same style because a new coach has been working for a long time with former coach Németh in the national team. They are Hungarian champions and that tells a lot about them.

Eurohandball.com: Buducnost have only Montenegrin players. It's quite rare these days, unfortunately. Even so, you have a strong team on an international level. What is your secret?

Tiselj: There is no secret. It was hard work for a lot of people who started to work with young girls 7-8 years ago. But there is plenty of work ahead of us as well. We focus on work with youngsters and we will pay even bigger attention on them in the future.

Eurohandball.com: You are the coach of a Montenegrin club and you were appointed coach of Montenegrin national team as well. Do you have any attachment to this country?

Tiselj: We were the same country 17 years ago, so we know each others culture, traditions, spirit, habits etc. There is no such a big difference, but I must say that this is a challenge for me and I like it.
