Xepkin returns to Barcelona

Nenadic and Xepkin join the Catalonians during the long break. The young Serbian and the Barca legend have already debuted in the team.


Xepkin returns to Barcelona

The team started the year with an easy victory in SpainA talented young playmaker, Serbian Petar Nenadic, and the experienced line player, Andrei Xepkin, will be the new faces in the team of Manuel Cadenas.

Nenadic arrives from Algeciras. He is a player for the future with great abilities to play for Barcelona. In addition, his style is different from Swedish playmaker, Jonas Lardholm.

42-year old line player, Andrei Xepkin, signed in January to help the team in case of injuries causing problem for Cadenas. Xepkin said good bye to handball two years ago, but he come back to play in the Champions League last year when he played for THW Kiel in the semi-finals and the final against Flensburg. Xepkin won CL with Barcelona and Kiel as well.

The two new handballers have already played in the Spanish league against Teucro (23-45 for Barcelona). Nenadic scored two goals, while Xepkin proved to be a great help for the defence.
