The French Didier Dinart was one of best players at this special game for him. Dinart was a CL winning Montpellier player before joining the Spanish squad.

The Quijote Arena is a difficult court to play and Ciudad confirmed it once again. A very strong defensive formation of the Dujshebaev team was the key to victory at the end of an equal match. Dinart and Pajovic were hard to beat and the Montepellier players were helpless against them at times.

The Spanish team had a serious disadvantage. Sterbik suffered a muscle injury last week and Hombrados had to take the responsibility alone. The Spanish international keeper did not cause disappointment for the fans and showed a very good performance.

Montpellier showed their best qualities in Ciudad Real, but it was not enough to surprise the hosts. The French keep their chances to take the first position in the group with a narrow defeat, but they will have to beat the Spanish at home.

It seems that the match between these two teams could be decisive in France.
