Đokić: Not decided yet
Eurohandball.com talks to Ana Đokić who recently celebrated her 29th birthday and announced that she is going to leave Győr at the end of the season. She also talks about the game against Nürnberg.
Eurohandball.com: It seemed to be an easier game at the beginning, but turned out to be a tough battle. Why? Ana Đokić: Nürnberg were intimidated at the beginning as they probably never played in such a splendid atmosphere before. Later they got themselves together. Nevertheless, I believe that the winner was not in doubt for a moment. When it was 11-4, I had the feeling that we would not win with so many goals as the German side are better than that.
Eurohandball.com: Did they play what you expected? Đokić: Yes. We put great emphasis on the tactics and did what Csaba Konkoly asked and what we have seen on the video. They did not show many new things. They were running, they are strong, quick, but luckily we were able to adapt to this rhythm.
Eurohandball.com: Is it true that you are going to leave Győr at the end of the season? Đokić: I have two serious offers and now I’m waiting for the management of Győr. Nothing is decided yet. Yesterday I sat down with club manager Attila Vanyus and we agreed that they also have to do a lot to come to an agreement.
Eurohandball.com: What would you like to do? Đokić: This is my sixth season with Győr. I got used to the atmosphere and I could fit in the team, learnt the language. I would like to stay in Győr, I feel fine here. TEXT: handball.hu (Ildikó Balogh) |
