Croatians support Portland...

Before the last matches of the Main Round, nothing is decided in Group 3 yet. Zagreb Croatia Osiguranje will travel to Flensburg, hoping that Portland will defeat Hamburg in Pamplona.

No white flag

Sola is nearing his top form againCroatian coach, Lino Cervar, is satisfied with the achievements of his team in the CL. Their original objective was to reach the Main Round and now they even have a chance to get further. Accordingly, Cervar does not raise a white flag.

Their defeat in Pamplona was not even such a bad thing for the Croatian team after all. Now Portland will have motivation to defeat Hamburg. If they succeed and Zagreb also defeat Flensburg, the Croatians will reach the semi-finals.

Since Flensburg can no longer reach the semi-finals, their players do not have anything to play for in this match, except for a nice goodbye to the CL with a victory.

In addition, Lackovic and Lijewski, will join Hamburg next season, so they can also be expected to try hard to win against Zagreb and help Hamburg if needed.

Sola is back

Lino Cervar can count on all his players for this important duel. Good news is the return of Vlado Sola to his best form. He had great performance in Pamplona and could be a decisive player in Flensburg too.

The Croatian handball fans will cheer for Balic, Dominikovic and Matosevic on Saturday, hoping that the semi-finalist place in Group 3 will be decided in Flensburg on Sunday.

The match Flensburg vs. Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb will be played on Sunday at 17:30hrs. The referees will be Nordine Lazaar and Laurent Reveret from France. HRT 2 will broadcast the match live.
