Women’s CWC: CL derby in the semi-finalsBrasov seem to be good candidates for the title, while Podravka and Larvik will play a big derby for the final. BeraBera vs BrasovThe Spanish side have made a big surprise in the previous round. In the first game they lost on home court by one goal against Danish Vejen, but they won by one in Denmark. With the away goal rule they went on to play in the semi-finals against another strong side, Brasov. The Romanians, who were predicted to be a really good side, have shown what they are able to do against Krim. The Slovenian top team were beaten at home and away by the Romanians. Strong candidates for the final victory… Podravka vs LarvikThe meeting of the two sides promises a lot of excitement. This is the derby of the round, probably, with both teams having enormous international experience. The team of Zovko can count on the supporters, as it was the case in the previous round where they needed a seven-goal home victory to go on. Larvik had less trouble with their French opponents and their place among the four best teams is sure. TEXT: Eurohandball.com |
