Women’s Challenge Cup: Equal chances

The outcome of the Challenge Cup is difficult to predict with one French and one Romanian team remaining.

Women’s Challenge Cup: Equal chances

The Women’s Challenge Cup will be a good opportunity for teams to show their ambitions and abilities in the semi-finals.

Oldenburg vs Braila

The German side did not have a difficult match since beating the German Trier in Round 3. That was long time ago and now they have easily qualified against an Austrian side as well. Braila will be more interesting for the fans. The Romanians have eliminated Constanta in the previous round, which was a difficult matter and indicates their strength.

Bratislava vs Merignac

Bratislava secured their place in the semi-finals with two draws against Dijon, a French side. The home draw was only 22-22, so the away goal rule was favourable for the Slovaks. Now they can play for the final against another French team. Merignac reached this stage by beating an Icelandic team with the goals of their player from Ivory Coast, Mambo N’Cho Cho.
