“Together we can dream,” was the slogan of a Ciudad Real campaign before the second leg of the finals. The players made it a reality. The Spanish club closed a perfect season winning every title that they possibly could in Spain and Europe.  

The celebrations will be held in Ciudad on Friday with the fans joining the party of the year. The tight competition schedule did not allow the players to celebrate earlier, so this promises something special.

The team of Talant Dujshebaev made no mistakes this season. They were able to endure the pressure of winning the competitions by focusing only on one objective a time. The injuries caused difficulties to the team, but as Ciudad have a large roster they were able to survive the difficult moments. 

Ciudad have equalled the record of the legendary Dream Team of Barcelona. The Catalonians led by Valero Rivera had a similarly successful team in the 90s with players such as Masip, Barrufet, Garralda and others. Sterbik, Entrerrios, Stefansson and Dinart stepped into their footsteps by beating Kiel on Sunday.

Ciudad closed a perfect season with five titles secured: Champions League, Asobal League, Asobal Cup, Spanish Cup and Supercup. It would not be easy to repeat this next season, but surely Ciudad will be favourites in every competition. This will be a marvellous pressure, the pressure of the being champions.
