Convincing Hypo form
The Austrian side preparing for the Champions League Final on Saturday played a friendly game against Dunaferr NK, EHF Cup semi-finalist squad from Hungary. The match in Südstadt ended with a 38:27 for the hosts.
Hypo have a difficult situation, which is not new to the club. In Austria there can be hardly any opponents found fit for preparations. The team of coach Németh usually play against teams from the neighbouring countries such as Krim, Podravka or Hungarian sides.
After the team recently won the 32nd league title for Hypo (the final was played against Hypo NOE second squad), the girls have to focus entirely on the CL Final.
However, this time against Dunaferr, Hypo also tested a new player, Turkish Serpil Iskenderoglu, who came on court for the last minutes of the game. The real focus was on teamplay and practicing game plans to use on Saturday in Russia. TEXT: handball.hu |
