Saric and Urdiales join Portland
The President of Portland San Antonio, Miguel Galarraga, has confirmed the first reinforcements for next season: Daniel Saric and Santiago Urdiales will sign for Portland from Ademar Leon.
In fact, their names circulated in San Antonio for some months now, but they will not be the only new players of Spanish team.
The Bosnian goalkeeper will play the next four seasons in Pamplona and the agreement was closed a year ago. Saric played for Ademar, Ciudad Real and Alcobendas in Spain and he will replace Walter Matosevic (gone to Cuidad Real) in Portland.
Santiago Urdiales signed for three years. He is a Spanish international left winger and played for Ademar, Ciudad Real and Cantabria before. A serious knee injury broke his career some seasons ago and he is trying to recover now. His brother, Alberto Urdiales, played for Portland four seasons ago.
Portland fans are still waiting for good news. Players such as Jakobsen, Nikcevic or Masachs have been alleged to arrive and a new coach will also be appointed. Bogdan Wenta is also linked to the job, but this is not confirmed yet. TEXT: Fernando Urra Goñi |
