Nordhorn wins the traditional preparation tournament in front of Leon, Szeged and Bosna.

CL teams in Doboj

The 40th edition of the traditional international handball tournament, Doboj 2008 took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Three teams preparing for CL group matches also took part at the tournament, Ademar Leon, Pick Szeged and Bosna.

Ademar Leon tried to defend their title from last season, but in the finals the Spaniards were defeated by Nordhorn.

Many teams were without their players who were in Beijing at the time to play at the Olympic handball tournament. Nevertheless, the matches were very interesting and intense.

Awards

The first three ranked teams won trophies and also money prize.

2. Ademar Leon (7 000 euro)
3. Vardar (5 000 euro)
