Great start of Ivica RimanicIn the first Romanian derby of the season Oltchim Valcea defeated Rulmentul Brasov by 31:25. The Croatian coach Ivica Rimanic passed his first big test successfully on the bench of the Romanian champions. The home team dominated from the very beginning. The first half ended with 17:13. Dinu was impossible to beat for Brasov’s attack and Oltchim won the match by six goals – 31:25. Dinu decisive againRimanic can be very satisfied with his team’s performance. Dinu was brilliant with 15 saves and Maier was also unstoppable with 11 goals. On other side Stanca scored 5 goals for Brasov. After four matches played in the Romanian championship Oltchim Valcea are on the top of the table with 8 points. It seems that the Romanian champions are getting ready for the upcoming challenges in the CL. Oltchim will play in Group C against Lada Togliatti, Larvik and Podravka Vegeta.
