Biggest challenge for ZagrebThursday will bring the biggest challenge for Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb so far. The team of Lino Cervar will travel to Karlsruhe to play against Rhein-Neckar Löwen. With points gained from this match, the Croatians could secure the first place of Group H and the team would also have good chances for the quarterfinals. Lino Cervar is well aware that points from Karlsruhe could be decisive for the quarterfinals: “That's why we go there for a win. Although it will be difficult…” The only problem for Cervar is that he was not satisfied with the performance against Wisla Plock last weekend: “We only played 20 minutes in the manner we all agreed. Our defence was not good, our attack was better. The substitutes did not perform on the expected level. Despite all our mistakes, we managed to come back and win, but we will be punished by Löwen if we play like that.” The Croatian champions expect a hard and tough match, where mistakes will not be allowed. The Group H top game, Rhein-Neckar Löwen vs Croatia Osiguranje-Zagreb, will be played in Karlsruhe on Thursday at 20:00. The referees will be Sorin-Laurentiu Dinu and Constantin Din from Romania. Handball fans can watch the Group H game live all over the world on ehftv.com, HTV 2, Eurosport 2 and Dubai Sports. TEXT: Ivan Ambros |
