The coach of Bosna Sarajevo retires after the draw in Grecce last weekend. Vojislav Radja appointed.


Gregor Cvijic resigns

After the surprising draw against Doukas in Greece, HC Bosna Sunce Osiguranje announced that their coach Gregor Cvijic resigns.

The Bosna fans were disappointed in GreeceCvijic talks about his reasons:

“After the draw against ASE Doukas in Greece I resign from the position of coach since I did not fulfil all tasks given to me by the club management or by myself. I’m very satisfied with the fact that Bosna will continue to compete in the Cup Winners’ Cup, similarly to last season.

“I would also like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to continue my work in the club and I wish them all the best for the future. I’m convinced that this team will once again win both Championship and Cup titles of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

Vojislav Radja new coach

The club management reacted quickly and appointed Vojislav Radja until the end of this season.

Radja started well already. On Wednesday his team played a match in Round 9 of the domestic league. Bosna Sunce Osiguranje defeated Visoko by 35:24 (15:12). Melic scored 8 goals, Kapisoda 7 and Medic 5 goals.

Bosna Sunce Osiguranje are still undefeated in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

GOG: the last CL challenge

Their last opponent in the CL this season will be GOG Svendborg. In the last round of the Danish Championship the team of Ulf Schefvert played a draw against Team Tvis Holstebro (24:24). Hucko, Tau and Rasmussen scored 4 goals each for GOG.

GOG are now 8th in the Danish championship with 10 points.

Bosna Sunce Osiguranje vs GOG Svendborg will be played in Sarajevo on Saturday at 17:30. The referees will be Viktor Poladenko and Igor Chernega from Russia. ehfTV.com, FTV and Channel 5 will broadcast the match live.
