Hypo coach remains confident

The matches in Podgorica against Buducnost T-Mobile are always difficult task for Hypo Niederösterreich. The last match in Moraca hall proved that again.

Németh's team-talk didn't helpAlthough Hypo were leading 14:8 in the 23rd minute and 17:13 at half-time, the team of András Németh didn’t manage to beat Buducnost T-Mobile and get the fourth win in Group B.

After playing a great first 30 minutes, the visitors simply disappeared in the second half, scoring only eight goals, four of which were penalties.

“We knew the game in Podgorica would be difficult, but our objective was to win. We didn’t make it, although we were close to get at least a point. I can’t describe what we feel now, I just know we go home without points,” said Gorica Acimovic who scored four goals on Saturday.

This defeat was the second of the season in Podgorica for the Austrians. Hypo also lost the game in Moraca hall in the Regional League (34:32). But, this match was more important and the Austrians in the second half didn’t show their best qualities. Anyway, Hypo remain the big favourites of the group…

“I must congratulate Buducnost for the win. They obviously expected to win the game. We always have problems to get into form after breaks. Buducnost have a young and talented team and to beat us they also needed a little luck, which they had. I think Buducnost and us, at this moment, have the biggest chances to go on to the main round,” said András Németh, coach of Hypo.
