Injured captain

Miranda Tatari, captain of Podravka Vegeta, talks about her injury and her great determination to return on court as soon as possible.

Tatari describes how she sustained the injury:

Tatari is an impatient patient"What can I say? Bad luck, bad timing. It happened at a friendly match where we played against Budućnost T-Mobile at a tournament in Dabas, Hungary. It was really tough match from the very beginning. Suddenly I was hit on my nose and it was very painful."

Unfortunately, the injury turned out to be quite serious.

"Since it was broken I had to return to Koprivnica immediately where doctors adjusted my nose. The prediction was that I have to be two or three weeks out of the court. I’m very angry and disappointed because I could not help my team at the important Champions League match against Larvik, but the most important thing is that we won."

Despite this misfortune, Tatari is thinking positively:

"I will continue cheering for my team from the spectators’ area and do my best to return as soon as possible."

Podravka Vegeta managed to defeat Larvik without Miranda Tatari. Still, fans in Koprivnica hope that their captain will recover and help their team in the upcoming decisive matches in Togliatti and Valcea.
