CL Main Round: groups drawnThe draw for the Main Round of the Women’s EHF Champions League was carried out on 20 January in the EHF Headquarters, Vienna. The teams were drawn by the representative of EHF Champions League partner Gerflor, Mr. Xavier Nicolau. The eight qualified teams have been drawn into two groups of four. Both groups include two winners of the previous group phase and two second ranked teams. Main Round

While there is a basic Main Round playing schedule in the Regulations of the Women’s Champions League, the European Handball Federation reserves the right to make the necessary adaptations with regards to TV requirements. A finalised playing schedule, therefore, will only be published in a couple of days. Semi-finalsThe first two ranked teams of the Main Round groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The winner of a group will meet the second ranked team of the other group, and the second leg matches of the semi-finals will be played on the home court of the group winners. TEXT: EHF |
