One of the last time outs of CervarAfter the defeat suffered from Chambery, Červar and Zagreb Croatia osiguranje agreed to terminate their contract. Červar declared that the background of his resignation is “health, moral and principle reasons and the defeat from Chambery“.

The most successful Croatian coach has recently suffered from high blood pressure.

The club accepted his resignation and decided that assistant coaches Senjanin Maglajlija and Mirko Bašić will take his place.

Lino Červar arrived in Zagreb in 2000 and left in 2002. He came back in 2004, left again and returned in 2007. The club management did not dismiss that Červar may return to the Croatian Champions sometime in the future.
