Zagreb ready

Full house and a determined team will be waiting for Kiel in Zagreb.

Zagreb ready

Sunday, 17:30: this is the time when the most important match of the season will start for Zagreb Croatia osiguranje.

The sports hall will be packed once again in ZagrebTheir opponent will be last season’s CL finalist, THW Kiel. It is not a secret that the German team were not happy at all with the quarterfinals draw. Understandable: Balić, Lazarov, Vori, Škof, Duvnjak, Valčić and Džomba are not the players you want to see on the other side of the court.

The Croatians also have high opinion about their rivals, but with great amount of self-confidence and determination to succeed.

Džomba in great form

On Wednesday, Zagreb Croatia osiguranje defeated Moslavina by 44:25 (21:12) in 22nd round of Croatian Championship. The best player of the match was Mirza Džomba with 10 goals altogether.

It was a good test match before first leg of the CL quarterfinals. Coaches Senjanin Maglajlija and Mirko Bašić can be satisfied with team’s attitude. Players can't wait for the match to start and all tickets are sold out. The superb atmosphere is guaranteed.

It is true, lots of good and bad things happened recently in Zagreb and in Kiel as well. Still, it is certain that Sunday’s match will be a clash of two handball giants. So the big media interest is not a surprise.
