Mission not yet completedThe former legendary player and current coach of Talant Dujshebaev was understandably very happy after the victory against Hamburg. He knows exactly how strong the German club is and he is already focusing on the Final against THW Kiel. The Spanish coach is satisfied with the job done by his players, even if the upcoming weeks will be very difficult for the team. “I am really happy for my players. I’m thankful for their work. Hamburg are one of the three best teams in the world,” Dujshebaev said. “It is an important achievement that we reached the Final, but it would not be as valuable if we could not retain our title,” he said. Rutenka echoing his coachOne of the most important Ciudad Real players, Sergei Rutenka, must play in the line player position to replace the injured Urios Fonseca. Though this is not his natural position, every week he shows an extraordinary performance. He dedicated the victory to the fans: “Our fans were very important for us. They gave us a big support and we are very thankful.” The Belarus-born star put it quite simply: “We made fewer mistakes and we were better in defence. We have achieved one of our objectives, but our work is not done yet. We want to be even happier than this at the end of the Final of the Champions League.” TEXT: Fernado Urra Goni |
