Semi-final places booked

Europe's top beach national teams have secured their semi-final places at the European Beach Championships

Finals weekend in Larvik as Europe’s beach national teams continue to fight for the men’s and women’s European titles in Larvik, Norway.

The beach Euro hosts have been knocked out of the men's Quarter Finals but their female stars continue and now meet the Ukraine in the Semi-Finals.

A large crowd followed the Quarter Finals on Courts one and two in the Larvik Beach Arena.

Here are the complete results from the matches;

WOMEN

Italy versus Spain 2-0 (18-14, 16-12)
Denmark versus Croatia 0-2 (18-19, 11-15)
Norway versus Switzerland 2-1 (17-6, 15-16, 7-3)
Ukraine versus Hungary 2-1 (15-18, 18-15, 4-3)

MEN

Norway versus Denmark 0-2 (12-13, 15-20)
Croatia versus Poland 2-0 (23-10, 24-16)
Russia versus Turkey 2-0 (24-11, 16-10)
Spain versus Hungary 0-2 (20-21, 21.24)

SEMI FINALS

There is no rest in Beach Handball though, and the teams are back in action Saturday afternoon from 16.00 (CET)

WOMEN

Finals will be played on Sunday, women’s final at 15.00 and the men’s final at 16.00.
