Event promotion

The Croatian star Vori together with the "EURO star" MagicMagic, the official mascot of EURO 2010 will be busy in the months to come. The Austrian Handball Federation (ÖHB) organised over 120 promotion tours to direct the attention to the nearing European Championship.

ÖHB will also host the last two of its four-nation tournaments, which have been staged to ensure occasion to prepare for the national teams and for the EURO venues as well. The tournament in Linz is coming up on 30 October to 1 November 2009, while the last test will be in Wr. Neustadt on 7 to 9 January 2010.

Heads of Delegations Conference

Not only the teams and the venues prepare for the EURO. The EHF EURO 2010 Heads of Delegations Conference will take place on 7 to 9 October 2009. The joint organisers of the event in Vienna will be the Austrian Organising Committee and the EHF.

In the first part of this seminar, technical details and competition information will be provided to the participants by the EHF. In the second part of the programme, the Organising Committee will work together with the delegation leaders on procedures, accreditation matters, organisational questions and individual requirements of the delegations. Between these two sections ÖHB will also guide the guests through the venue of the Final, Stadthalle Wien.

The final part of the conference will give the opportunity for all guests to visit their EHF EURO 2010 venues. The delegation leaders will visit the playing halls and the hotels of their teams.
