Barcelona move on

The Catalonians do not think about the Kiel game anymore.

Barcelona move on

Xavier Pascual and his team are fully focused on the upcoming CL game. The defeat from Kiel was hard to take, but a new challenge is ahead with a Danish top team coming up for the Catalonians. A familiar face will also visit Barcelona, Mateo Garralda.

Barcelona coach is confident about this game: “I’m sure we will win this match against a very difficult opponent, Kolding. We cannot think too long about the defeat against Kiel because four teams will qualify at the end. It is true that winning the group would mean an advantage later, but a second place would be valuable too”.

The defeat from Kiel came shortly after a failure against Ciudad Real in the Asobal League.

“There are different competitions. We have to work to improve our performance. Our victory in Antequera was very important because the team proved to be united,” Pascual explained after.

Garralda returns

The next Champions match will be special for a player, Mateo Garralda. The Spanish veteran will return to Barcelona with Kolding after a very successful period in the Palau Blau Grana. Garralda was a member of the “dream team” of Valero Rivera. He won three Champions League titles with Barcelona and played for other great clubs such as Atletico de Madrid, Teka, Portland San Antonio or Ademar de Leon.
