We come to winThe Croatian international plays her first CL season. With only 22-years of age, Grubišić is already a high profile player of Croatian national team and Krim Mercator. Just three months ago she arrived from Lokomotiva Zagreb: “I feel good in Ljubljana. The team accepted me and everything is great. The city is beautiful and it's pleasant to live here. I'm really satisfied.“ The talented goalkeeper makes an outstanding duo with Sergeja Stefanišin. With their great saves, Krim are the only undefeated team of Group B: “The atmosphere in the team is great. I think nobody expected such a good start from us in the Champions League. I think we were not aware of our own strength at the beginning, but we surely showed what we are really able to do.“ “We are a young team; many of us play their first CL seasons and everyone has great motivation. We want to reach as far as possible. We are a great comunity on court and off the court. The main reason for winning all three games was our defence. The attack also works well; we can be dangerous from all positions. Also, we have quality reserve players who can contribute to our play in defence as well as in offence.“ In next round Grubišič&Co. will visit Aalborg: “We already defeated them in Ljubljana, but I think we should not underestimate Aalborg. They are a good team and beating them away will certainly be difficult. But if we continue playing well, I'm convinced there will be no problems. We go to Denmark to win, get two points and continue our winning stream,“ said Grubišić. TEXT: Ivan Ambroš |
