Leganger’s back

FCK Håndbold´s Norwegian goalkeeper, Cecilie Leganger, is finally after a serious Achilles injury that kept her out of court since May.

Leganger happy: she was back after half a yearThe 34-year old Leganger made her first appearance this season as FCK won their home match against Larvik.

However, she is not yet fit to play all 60 minutes of the game and she spent only five minutes in each halftime on court against Larvik.

“It was a fantastic feeling to be back, especially with a victory. I’m really happy about it,” Cecilie Leganger said.

“Getting back to the training routine went really well. It was good news when the doctors told her that she can play about five to ten minutes. Though she did not play much yet, she already contributed with her spirit which is really good for our defence,” FCK coach Anja Andersen said.
