Vujin’s quick recoveryThe Serbian national player of MKB Veszprém picked up a seemingly serious knee ligament injury during a national game against Hungary at the end of October. It was unclear whether an operation would be necessary for the player to recover. Now Vujin is back in Veszprém with amazing news: a knee specialist predicts that he can start training with full intensity within two weeks.
The Serbian right back is already doing trainings, also with heavy tools. “Fortunately, my knee is in good condition and is getting better day by day. I started workouts and now I’m able to lift heavier weights too. The specialist predicts that I can complete full intensity trainings within 2 weeks. I believe him.” The news comes as a relief for the player and also for the Serbian and Hungarian fans. “To tell you the truth it is a relief for me that I don’t have to rest 3-4 months. Big challenges are waiting for me in the national team and in the CL. I cannot fall out for a longer period now.” Missing the trainings and also some of the matches does not help the moral of the young player who is eager to return on court. “Unfortunately I only could follow the matches on television. It was pretty awful that I could not be a part of the team and missed the live coverage too. I received the result minute by minute, but I was really nervous. My mother said that I was going crazy. The fans amazed me at both matches I miss them very much. I cannot wait to run on the court in front of them as soon as possible!” TEXT: www.mkbveszprem.eu |
