Buducnost still dreaming of Main Round

The Montenegrins have their fate in their own hands and prepare for a strong comeback in January.

Buducnost still dreaming of Main Round

It was a strange game last weekend when Buducnost T-Mobile played against Dinamo. Both teams needed a victory to keep their chances alive and both teams had the opportunity to get those two points.

The last chance of the game was in front of Majda Mehmedovic who was denied by Dinamo goalkeeper Sedoykina just two seconds before the end. The game ended in a draw.

“I froze when I sow where the ball stopped. More then four thousand people expected me to score the winner. It was a big disappointment. I started crying, I couldn’t stop,” Mehmedovic admitted.

Despite the lost point, the Montenegrin champions still have a chance to reach the Main Round. In order to do so, they must win the last two games – away to Larvik and at home against Copenhagen.

“We were lucky that Copenhagen defeated Larvik, because now we have our destiny in our hands. But we must win the last two games and I believe we have a quality to do that. When we fight, we can be equal to every team in Europe.

“The CL break comes just at the right time for us, because until January we will have time to have a rest and reach a good form, Milena Knezevic, a young talent of Buducnost said.
