On Thursday Medvedi and Valladolid meet again.

Clash of eternal rivals

After having fought so many exciting CL clashes it is time for Medvedi and Valladolid to meet again. Thursday brings us a new duel of the eternal rivals, played in Chekhov.

The Spanish team has got to win in order to stay in the race in Group A. But the Russians have the great advantage of playing at home.

Odds in favour of Medvedi

Medvedi have won all home matches this season. What is even most important, they will play three more of their four remaining group phase games on the home court. With their past draws in Szeged and Valladolid, this could be the decisive advantage for ending on one of the first two places in Group A and going through.

Harbok joins Medvedi

The Russian champions signed a contract with Siarhei Harbok, player of the Rhein-Neckar Löwen. The Belarusian international has scored 18 goals in this CL season.

The left back, born 1982, is 198 cm tall and has experience from earlier stations like Arkatron Minsk, ZTR Zaporozhye and Celje Pivovarna Laško.

The Group A clash Chekhovskie Medvedi versus Pevafersa Valladolid will be played on Thursday at 19:00 local time in Chekhov.

A live stream of this exciting match will be available on www.ehfTV.com
