100 days and countingWith the celebrations, successes and disappointments of the Men’s EHF European Championship in Austria now behind them the focus of Europe’s top handball players is now firmly on club success. And for many the ultimate goal is to appear in the very first EHF FINAL4 in Cologne in May 2010. They do not have too much longer to wait. There are only 100 more days until the first games of the new-look final phase of the EHF FINAL4 in the LANXESS arena, Cologne are played. But the pressure is on Europe’s top stars as the EHF Champions League reaches the eighth round. The new Last 16 knock-out phase is just around the corner and everybody wants to be in Cologne on 29 and 30 May 2010. EHF FINAL4 Ambassador, Stefan Lövgren, said: "All the players I’ve spoken to want to be at the first FINAL4. They simply don’t want to miss this event." The four teams qualifying for the Last 16 from each of the four groups will be known after the tenth and final round at the beginning of March 2010. The four EHF FINAL4 teams will be known at the beginning of May 2010 following the completion of the Quarterfinals. 13,000 tickets have been sold for the event to date. Handball fans wanting to make the trip to the EHF FINAL4 can still purchase VIP Tickets, Hospitality Tickets, or a Travel Package through travel partner, Vietentours.
