Krim boost up self-confidenceLast weekend Women’s Champions League team Krim Mercator defeated Biseri Pljevlja clearly with 44:28 (17:16) in a WRHL match in Ljubljana. After an equal first half, the home team showed no mercy and demolished the Montenegrin team with an impressive margin of 16 goals. Andrea Lekić with her 9 goals was the best scorer of the match, Liudmila Bodnieva scored 6, Szandra Zascik and Tamara Mavsar scored 5 goals each. This convincing WRHL victory comes right on time for the team of Coach Marta Bon as two decisive matches in the Women’s Champions League are coming up. On Sunday the Slovenian champions visit HC Leipzig, who they managed to defeat 32:26 in the first game in Ljubljana. After that is the home match against the Hungarian team of Györ.
