Morros to leave Ciudad Real

Viran Morros will not extend his contract with Ciudad and will leave the club in June. The Spanish player has not yet revealed his destination team but the rumours point to Barcelona.

The Spanish champions announced Morros’ decision on the official web site, and the player held a press conference to explain his reasons to leave Ciudad. "This is the most difficult decision of my life. I have personal motivations to leave and look for new sport objectives," Morros said.

After the announcement the former Spanish international added: "I feel very calm because I have always been honest with the club. I will work hard to the final. Still I can understand that the fans do not understand my decision. I was very happy here and have improved a lot with a fantastic group of players and coaches."

Morros talked about his coach Talant Dujshebaev. "When I told him, he respected my decision and made it clear that I am still a part of the team. And I am confident about that it will happen. I have learnt a lot from him and Raul Gonzalez. We’ve had incredible experiences together."
