Kiril Lazarov leaves Zagreb

Kiril Lazarov has not accepted the prolongation offer for his contract. One of the best shooters of the EHF Champions League is at the moment quite relaxed about his future. Many clubs are interested to sign "Kiro".

At this point it seems like Macedonian Metalurg with coach Lino Červar is very determined to bring him back to his home country. "Yes, the club is in negotiation with Kiril Lazarov. It would be great if we would manage to sign him," coach Červar commented.

Zagreb rebuilds

At the same time Croatia osiguranje Zagreb continues with the reorganization of the club. Players’ salaries will decrease, and at the same time more money will be invested in working with young talents.

Dominiković to transfer to Bundesliga

After four years spent in Pamplona, Davor Dominiković will continue his carrier in Germany. The left back is both proud and disappointed with recent happenings in Reyno de Navarra San Antonio: "Many good things, but also many bad things happened to me here in Pamplona. It is certain that I am leaving and that my future club will be from Bundesliga, but I can't say more than this at this point," Dominiković explained.

Metković legend

In the finals of the EHF Cup of 1999/2000, Metković vs. Flensburg, Dominiković scored five goals in last 11 minutes of the match. This way he brought EHF Cup trophy to his hometown Metković. Amongst many other trophies Croatian defence specialist has World Championship Gold medal from Portugal 2003 and Olympic Gold medal from Athens 2004.
