Reiche back to Germany

German international leaves EHF Champions League winners.

Reiche back to Germany

German international Nora Reiche is leaving the EHF Champions League winners and Danish champions Viborg HK. The 26 year old right back and right winger is going home to Germany, where her career will continue in Bundesliga club THC Erfurt.

Nora Reiche has been sidelined for nearly two of her three years in Viborg, due to two serious cruciade ligament injuries. She made her comeback to top handball this winter, but did not get much time on the court, and her contract, which is expiring at the end of this season, has not been extended. Instead she has now signed a two year contract with Erfurt.

"I am happy to finally having got things settled. It is going to be something completely different from being in Viborg, but it will be interesting. I hope to get a lot of responsibility and match praxis at THC Erfurt, Nora Reiche told the local newspaper Viborg Stifts Folkeblad.

Viborg have not announced a successor to Nora Reiche yet.
