eBay auction of EHF FINAL4 memorabiliaThe EHF Champions League FINAL4 was one of the biggest events of the 2009/2010 season with 40,000 people witnessing the very first new-look final stage of the EHF Men’s Champions League in the LAXNESS arena, Cologne. Starting Monday 5 July 2010, handball fans have the chance to own their own little bit of the event thanks to the launch of an auction on the eBay website, where a whole host of EHF FINAL4 memorabilia will be available to bid for. Proceeds from the auction will go to the EHF FINAL4 social partner, Deutsche Krebshilfe, the German cancer charity, which continues the battle against this disease, funding research into the treatment of the disease as well as the care of cancer patients. Items available in the auction include signed playing shirts from each of the four teams, including a shirt from EHF Champions League top scorer from the past season, Filip Jicha. There are also many other items that have never previously been available for handball fans to purchase, including the must-have City Flag, as seen across Cologne during the EHF FINAL4 weekend. The biggest and most unique item available in the auction are the actual seats used during the event by players in the LANXESS arena, The distinctive red seats with the EHF Champions League logo would make a unique feature in any home or office! The eBay auction launches on Monday 5 July and will run for ten days – don’t miss out on this chance to own a small part of handball history!
