EHF FINAL4 2011 launches in two weeks

The biggest handball event of 2010 is back! The EHF Champions League FINAL4 will return to Cologne, Germany next year on 28 and 29 May 2011 as the four best men’s club teams in Europe once again do battle for the continent’s most sought after club title.

Tickets for the second EHF FINAL4, which will again be played in the LANXESS arena in the centre of Cologne in front of some 40,000 handball fans, will go on sale via the ehfFINAL4.com website on Wednesday 8 September 2010, eight months before the first ball is thrown in Cologne.

Commenting on the sale of tickets for next year’s event, EHF FINAL4 Manager, JJ Rowland, said: "Last season’s EHF FINAL4 was undoubtedly one of the best handball events of all time, not just because of the handball we saw there but also because of the atmosphere and spectacular show. 2011 is set to be even bigger and better and we’re expecting a lot of interest in tickets from across Europe."

The 2010/2011 edition of the EHF FINAL4 will follow the same format to last season with two semi-final matches played on Saturday and the third/fourth match and final played on Sunday.

The EHF FINAL4 Weekend Ticket includes not only all four matches but also free travel to and from the venue on public transport (within the VRS region).

Handball fans making the trip to Cologne will certainly not be disappointed. As well as the four top matches of the EHF Champions League season, there is guaranteed to be a real handball party atmosphere in Cologne in May. Live bands, food and drink, face painting, fan competitions and giveaways and two-days of top-class handball make this the biggest handball event of the season.

Tickets in four price categories as well as VIP Tickets can be purchased online at ehfFINAL4.com from Wednesday 8 September 2010. Additional information including ticket prices will be available from Tuesday 7 September following the official EHF Champions League Opening Press Conference in Cologne.
