A direct disqualification was given at the game Cuidad Real vs SG Flensburg Handewitt.

Arbitration Tribunal looking into unsportsmanlike incident

An unsportsmanlike incident happened during the VELUX EHF Men’s Champions League game between Renovalia Cuidad Real and SG Flensburg Handewitt that took place on 22.09.2010.

The players involved were Viran Morros de Argila (Ciudad Real) and Lasse Svan Hansen (Flensburg) in the second half of the match. Viran Morros de Argila received a direct disqualification.

As a consequence, the EHF requested an official disciplinary procedure to be opened and the Arbitration Tribunal will be dealing with the case.
