“Room for improvement“Anita Bulath is the most experienced player in the Debrecen team of Vilmos Köstner. The right-back speaks about the Hungarian league and her Champions League experience. ehfCL.com: After Dunaferr, FCK and Podravka you came to Debrecen. How do you feel at your new club? Anita Bulath: I feel great in Debrecen, as I did in Koprivnica. DVSC is developing a new team, so we still need to work a lot. ehfCL.com: How are the things in your domestic championship? Anita Bulath: In the Hungarian Championship we currently lie in second place. Our league is very strong and there are six teams who are realistically fighting for the trophy. ehfCL.com: After beating Hypo in Debrecen, you suffered defeats by Leipzig and Itxako. What are your thoughts on the games? Anita Bulath: We travelled to Leipzig by bus, only two days after our win against Hypo in Debrecen. Therefore, most of us felt exhausted with such little rest time, and I think that was the main reason for our defeat in Germany. ehfCL.com: In the next match you’ll play at home against Leipzig. Will this make you the favourites? Anita Bulath: Yes, we’ll play at home and this will be a totally different story. Leipzig is a good team, but we’ll play in front of our fans this time, and I think this will be a tremendous advantage. Our goal is to play the best we can and there is still much room for improvement. Many players have problems with injuries, including myself, but we’ll prepare ourselves as best we can for the match against Leipzig. ehfCL.com: Considering your great experience from playing in the Hungarian, Danish and Croatian Championships, who do you consider to be the main candidates for winning the CL trophy this season? Anita Bulath: I believe that Győr, Larvik and Vâlcea are favourites for winning the title. TEXT: Ivan Ambroš |
