Anything is possibleThe 31-year-old Brazilian international is having a strong season so far, and in our interview she talks about the Champions League experience. ehfCL.com: You started well with a victory against Oltchim, and then you stopped. What are the real capabilities of your team? Chana Masson: I believe we have a good team, which is getting better every year. This is our first season in the Champions League, and we have many young players. Our priority is to learn and improve, and of course, to enjoy playing in the CL. ehfCL.com: The truth is that you are in a very strong group with Larvik and Oltchim, and surprisingly, a very good Toulon. You’ve suffered severe defeats from Larvik. Chana Masson: I think that at this moment, Larvik is the best team in the world. We tried our best, but the better team won. ehfCL.com: Despite not such good results in the CL how are you doing in the Danish championship? Chana Masson: We are doing well in the Danish championship. Our goal is to repeat our good result from last season – the finals. Hopefully, this season we’ll win a different medal – a gold one (smile). ehfCL.com: You have only two points, and are in last position in Group C of the CL, but you still have a chance of reaching Cup Winners´ Cup, provided you defeat Toulon on away soil. Is that possible? Chana Masson: Anything is possible if you believe in yourself. ehfCL.com: You’ve played in the Spanish, German and Danish leagues. With your great experience, who are your favourites for winning the CL title this season? Chana Masson: Larvik for sure, but there are also Győr and Budućnost. The EHF Women's Champions League game of Group C, Toulon Saint Cyr Var Handball (FRA) vs. Randers HK (DEN) on Sunday 21 November 2010 at 18:45 hrs (local time), will be broadcast live on our free-of-charge web stream on ehfTV.com.
