2011 Women's 17 European Championship QualificationThe final tournament of the Women’s 17 European Championship 2011 will be played in the Czech Republic on 23 June to 3 July 2011. 31 federations are playing for 15 tickets to the tournament in the qualification. The only national team already qualified is the Czech Republic as organisers. QualificationThe qualification matches will be played in form of eight tournaments, each in its own specific venue, from Friday, 25 March, to Sunday, 27 March 2011. The draw event on 24 September 2010 in Copenhagen (DEN) gave us 7 groups of 4 teams and 1 group of 3 teams. From Groups 1 to 7, the teams placed first and second will qualify. From Group 8 only the winner will qualify for the final tournament in the Czech Republic. Qualification GroupsGroup 1 – will be played in Denmark Group 2 – will be played in Iceland Group 3 – will be played in Belarus Group 4 – will be played in Bulgaria Group 5 – will be played in Poland Group 6 – will be played in Romania Group 7 – will be played in Portugal Group 8 – will be played in France The exact venues of the tournaments will be announced at a later occasion.
