FC Midtjylland on the throne of the EHF Cup

After winning the EHF Cup in season 2001/2002 and being a finalist in 2006/2007, the Ikast based club FCM has won the duel of the Danish-only final to celebrate success at European cup level again.

Team Tvis Holstebro (DEN) - FC Midtjylland Handball (DEN) 26:24 (14:13)
First leg: FC Midtjylland Handball (DEN) - Team Tvis Holstebro (DEN) 28:21 (13:10)
On aggregate: 52:47 for FC Midtjylland Handball

Thanks to a strong performance in the first-leg match and the quality saves of goalkeeper Sabine Englert, FCM defended their 7-goal advantage from the first match and brought home the trophy.

After winning the EHF Cup, Kenneth Jensen´s team could soon collect another title, as in the Danish GuldBageren Ligaen they´ll face Randers HK in the final.
