EHF Court of Arbitration decisionThe EHF Court of Arbitration has made a decision in the case initiated by the EHF regarding the Greek handball club F.S Arion. F.S. Arion refused to host and play their Last 16 match of the 2011/2012 Women's Challenge Cup against HC Zito Prilep due to a dispute on the signification of the logo used by HC Zito Prilep’s main sponsor. The match was awarded to HC Zito Prilep 10:0. Furthermore F.S. Arion were excluded from the competition and the EHF Arbitration Tribunal decided to impose on the Greek club a € 10,000 fine and two-season suspension from participation in EHF club competitions. Both sanctions were imposed on a suspended basis with a probation period of two years. The EHF contested the EHF Arbitration Tribunal decision before the EHF Court of Arbitration. On 12 July 2011, the ECA panel partially confirmed the EHF Arbitration Tribunal decision and partially granted the EHF claim. The ECA award can be summarised as follows:
