EHF Champions League Qualification Tournaments 1The teams of the EHF Women’s Champions League Qualification will meet in two stages. In stage 1 – Qualification Tournaments 1 – two groups of four teams each will meet on 2/3/4 September 2011. The matches of the groups will be played in a Round Robin format. After three matches per team the teams finishing ranked first and second of each group go through to the next stage of the EHF Champions League – Qualification Tournaments 2. The teams finishing ranked third and fourth of each group continue in the Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup, where they enter in Round 2. View their future opponents HERE. The tournament of Group A will be organised by the Greek champions Ormi-Loux Patras and will be played in Bozaitika Patras’ PEAK Olympionikis D.Tofalos hall, with a capacity of 4,690 spectators. The second tournament, Group B, take place in Slovakia and be organised by Iuventa Michalovce. Chemkostav Arena in the eastern Slovakian town of Michalovce gives room to 1,800 spectators.
