Krim superior against ViborgGroup BRK Krim Mercator (SLO) vs. Viborg HK (DEN) 31:25 (16:8) The good old recipe for a superb team has the saying: start to build your squad by buying a top goalkeeper and a quality playmaker. The team of Viborg has both, but today they missed their injured centre back Isabelle Gulldén (out with a broken hand for about six weeks) too much and lost clearly against a superior and marvellous Krim. Viborg, although in top shape last week against title defenders Larvik, were totally clueless and without direction tonight against their Slovenian counterparts Krim, and only scored their first goal after 15 minutes to make it 1:10. Krim's back court scored easily and the Danes remained eight goals behind after 30 minutes. Martin Albertsen used several playmakers (Mouna Chebbah, Rikke Skov, Henriette Mikkelsen etc.), but none of them was able to lead the Danes to another success. The returning Johanna Ahlm was their only outstanding player, whilst on Krim's side, Jelena Grubišić once again stood like a wall in the goal, and her colleagues performed well in the central position. The team's top physical shape proved to be the deciding factor today, and is the result of the strongest-ever pre-season preparations at the club, which were ordered by coach Tone Tiselj. With this victory, the Slovenians took the lead of the group with a maximum of four points. TEXT: Márk Hegedüs |
